Italic languages

Italic is one of the primary branches of the Indo-European languages, although there is some speculation that the Italic and Celtic languages continued to develop together for some time after the break away from the rest of Indo-European. These days, the only extant members of the Italic family are the Romance languages, but in the first millennium BCE there were a few more, including Venetic, Umbrian, Oscan and Faliscan.
