2021 Mansfield earthquake

This was a magnitude 5.9 earthquake that occurred on 22 September 2021, with its epicentre near the town of Mansfield in eastern Victoria. It was felt pretty strongly in Melbourne with about 20 seconds of shaking, and damage to some buildings reported (one building on Chapel St had a wall spectacularly collapse, for example). Despite being stronger than, for example, the 1989 Newcastle earthquake, no deaths or injuries were reported.
