Micro.blog
Micro.blog is a blog host and community. For USD$5 a month, you can host your own blog on their platform (with your own domain name if you have one), which aims to make it easy to post short-form (status-type), long-form, and photo posts. They also have a timeline view that you can use without signing up to host a blog with them, importing your own blog via RSS feed. When I first made this site I hosted it on Micro.blog before switching to my own Hugo set-up, but I am still enthusiastic about the community. Micro.blog is one of the easiest ways to get into the IndieWeb, and I’d also recommend it to anyone who wants a friction-free blogging set-up.
