Mexico
Mexico is the second-largest country by population in North America, and the largest in the Spanish-speaking world, with approx. 130 million people. It’s a large and diverse country, encompassing the territories of great Mesoamerican civilisations like the Aztecs and the Mayans (the latter in part). In January 2020 I visited Mexico City and the Yucatán Peninsula, and loved them both.
