Firefox
Firefox is an open-source web browser produced by the Mozilla Foundation. I used it between 2004–2012 and 2017–2022, before shifting to Vivaldi. It’s the source of, and main browser using, the rendering engine Gecko. It’s seen as important that Firefox maintains a healthy enough market share to prevent web developers from merely developing for Chrome, rather than to the actual standards. Firefox is seen as more privacy-respecting (and, with uBlock Origin, better at ad blocking) than other major browsers, but it’s had its fair share of controversies as well.
Did you know? I also have a wiki page called ‘Firefox’! If you want to check that out, you can do so here.
